In her ten-year career, Aurora Jane has played hundreds of shows, touring throughout Australia, India, East Timor & New Zealand.

Once introduced at Woodford Folk Festival as “the secret lovechild of Ani Difranco & Jimi Hendrix” the 24 year old singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, is renowned for her intricate yet chunky guitar style, definitive bass lines, & soaring vocals. Aurora Jane’s groovin’ new band Massive Change deliver the goods live & in the studio, featuring the amazing talents of: Ben Karsay (Drums), Linden Lester (Bass), Carla Versitano (Vocals), Dan Brown (Keys) & Tim Foley (Percussion). AJMC are proud to be part of an international music community, which is presently playing an integral role in the peaceful uprising against corporate globalisation

Since emerging onto the scene in the early months of 2004, AJMC have toured almost constantly, only taking time out to record their striking debut EP ‘Release’, (# 7 in the AIR charts), and critically acclaimed debut album ‘What is it?’. “an album of distinctive and intelligent tracks …a welcome antidote to the bland pop generally foisted on us by commercial radio.” AJMC have enjoyed extensive radio airplay from triple j & Radio National in Australia, to networks across the USA and Canada

In July 2004 Aurora Jane headlined the World Music Festival, Leh Ladakh India – to an estimated live TV broadcast audience of 1 billion. AJMC returned to India this Feb/March 2006 to headline the Roots Festival in Shillong, Meghalaya, followed by a massive tour of the country from stadium shows in the the remote, tumultous regions of the North East, to the exclusive jazz clubs of Bombay, Delhi & Calcutta.

Alongside her work with Aurora Jane & Massive Change, an impressive musical career has showcased Jane’s diverse talents in a multitude of acts & settings including all grrl-act Sparks Fly, the Golden City Jazz Band, producer of radio documentaries for ABC Radio National & triple j (about the role of music in East Timor’s struggle for independence), facilitator of the Music Outback Program (taking music education to remote aboriginal communities in Central Australia) and guest guitar & vocals with Canadian activist trio Ember Swift.
